International Conference on CSR, Sustainability, Ethics and Governance 2026

The International Conference on CSR, Sustainability, Ethics, and Governance will be hosted by the Kemmy Business School (KBS) in 2026, which values sustainability as a core mission ‘We research and educate to create a sustainable future for all’. Hosting the International Conference on CSR, Sustainability, Ethics, and Governance is one means by which the KBS furthers its mission with an emphasis on issues of responsibility, sustainability and ethical behaviour and more closely aligns the KBS strategic initiatives with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) thereby “contributing to our community of stakeholders in a responsible and sustainable manner”.

The annual conference ‘International Conference on CSR, Sustainability, Ethics & Governance’, has delegates from over 40 nations who present their latest research and their practical implications for business, society, academia and politics. 

Some of the previous keynote speeches and paper titles include:

  • The alignment between ESG ratings and climate risk;
  • Responsible Banking and Sustainability;
  • The Influence of Role on Sustainability Attitudes and Practice;
  • The emerging contribution of the Spanish insurance sector to the development of sustainable finance;
  • Value challenge: the role of sustainability as an open innovation approach;
  • How Casual Brand‐Brand Interaction Influences Consumer’s Perceived Environmental CSR;
  • Ethical Organizational Culture: Is it a Mirage?;
  • Environmental Colonialism and Climate Racism in Favelas in Brazil;
  • An international empirical exploration of similarities and differences among categories of social entrepreneurs.

Sustainability in Practice Trip along the Wild Atlantic Way - 19th June

  • County Clare Sustainability Excursion: Wild Atlantic Way visit to a certified sustainable business, with a seminar on sustainability practice and time at the Atlantic seafront (GSTC-certified destination).
  • Natural Heritage & Conservation: Cliffs of Moher visit with discussion on carbon management, and a scenic return via the Burren.

On campus accommodation at the University of Limerick (Faíle Ireland accredited) - online booking through this site:

Ensuite bedroom (with private toilet and shower) in shared apartment on campus.  Rate includes Breakfast. Accommodation is approximately a 7 minute walk from the meeting spaces. Rate: €87.50 for single occupancy and €130.00 for double occupancy per room per night, including breakfast.

Our apartments are ideally located a short walk from the conference venue.
